The Wright City Kiwanis Amazing Rubber Duck Derby was held to support the Kiwanis Sports Closet in giving out sports equipment to the youth in the community. The proceeds also help the Wright City Kiwanis assist with other youth activities in the area.
FMB Bank graciously let us use this lot for our Duck Derby
Kiwanis members had a booth at First on First to sell ducks & play Pluck A Duck with kids.
We sold popcorn and had prizes for kids who “Plucked a duck” from our pond.
Mary Groeper organized a time to sell ducks on the corner by the gazebo. Our Kiwanis Key Club members joined in this cause to sell ducks.
There was lots of excitement while waiting for the ducks to run….
