What We Do

We are always looking for ways to get involved in the community. These are two entries in the Wright City Chamber Lamp Post Contest…

Kiwanis members Mary Groeper and Sue Wright decorated a lamp post for our club entry into the contest.

Kiwanis Members in the Community

Our Kiwanis club participates in community events like parades and festivals. We invite everyone to join us in making our community better. Below Michelle Smith and her husband, Greg lead our group in the Strassenbash Parade.

Our Booth at the Strassenbash 2021. We made Walking Tacos and Walking Dessert Tacos to sell. Members raised money to support the Kiwanis Sports Closet. The Sports Closet has equipment and supplies free for youth. Contact us at 636-235-2086 if you need sports equipment for your young person.

Backpack Program – giving a hand

Members volunteered at the Wright City Middle School with the Backpack program. We sorted food into containers ready to be put into the backpacks of students.

Members sorted through boxes and lined them up to fill the bags.
All of the bags were put into tubs.
